Our Junior B side made it two from two with a hard fought win over Eire Og on Saturday evening in Hennessy Memorial Park.
The first half was a cagey affair with scoring chances at a premium in a tricky wind. Miltown opened the scoring and were leading for most of the half until a Eire Og goal and point gave them a half time lead of 1-2 to 0-4.
A more cohesive and inventive Miltown found scores a little easier to come by in the second half as they kicked 8 points to Eire Ogs 3 to emerge victorious on a score line of Miltown 0-12 Eire Og 1-5.
