Miltown 2-9 Michael Cusacks 1-10

Our Junior B side got their league campaign off to a winning start with a 2 point victory over Ml Cusacks in picturesque Carron yesterday evening. Despite a goal in the opening minutes of the 1st half Miltown , playing against a strong breeze found scores hard to come by as Michael Cusacks made use of the elements to kick a number of long range points and lead at 1/2 time by 4 points.
The 2nd half saw a much more cohesive Miltown turn the tables on the home side and kick some very impressive points allied to a second goal to run out winners by 2 points.
