The GAA family is spread far and wide and this weekend saw the St.Joseph's Miltown Malbay GAA Club jersey make a double appearance on the playing fields of Jeju Island South Korea as CLG Inis Jeju hosted the inaugural running of the PJ McGlinchey Cup.

Lining up for Geumneung and Jungmun were Kevin Toibin & his son Darragh.

Kevins grandfather Mick Hennessy played for Miltown in the 40s & 50s and though born in Dublin the Miltown roots remain strong and both Kevin and son Darragh are wearing the centenary edition jerseys which remember the Canada Cross shootings of April 1920 and the three men who died there.

We are delighted to see the famous jersey on display on one of the lesser known outposts off the GAA and bring a little bit of Miltown to the GAA fields of Jeju.
