Our u21s fell to defeat in their opening u21A championship match yesterday in Doonbeg.
Facing off against West Clare Gaels (Doonbeg, O'Currys, Kilkee, Naomh Eoin), Miltown trailed at the break on a scoreline of 1-5 to 0-4.
In the 2nd half, the youthful Miltown side continued to try and work hard however were unable to reduce the deficit with the amalgamation prevailing on a scoreline of 1-9 to 0-7.
Our u21s will gain valuable experience from yesterday and now move into the losers round Robin section where they will have another chance.
