Division 7 League : Match Report.

Our Junior B side continued their good run of form in Division 7 with a hard fought win over Moy on Sunday.
Playing against a strong wind in the first half scores were at a premium , Moy started strongly and took a 3 point lead before a close in free form Des Molohan steadied the ship for Miltown who began to work their way into the game and further points from Gary Egan (2) Colm Haugh & Des Molohan (2) meant Miltown went in at half time leading by 6 points to 5.
The second half continued along the same lines with both sides relying on frees to keep the scoreboard ticking over, until a number of Miltown scores from play finally put some daylight between the sides. Points from Diarmaid O'Sullivan (2) Des Molohan (2) , Gary Egan & Declan Rynne combined with sterling work from the Miltown defence meant Miltown ran out winners on a scoreline of 12 points to 9.
