Our Junior A side were presented with a new set of jerseys last night kindly sponsored by The Noel Walsh Foundation.

Noel was a player, manager and administrator of great renown and served not only Miltown GAA but the organisation as a whole with great vision and dedication throughout his life.

He won two County Senior Football championships with Miltown in 1953 & 1959 and represented Clare at Juvenile and Junior levels.

Noel was manager of the Clare Senior Football team for three terms and was a selector when Clare won the Munster Final in 1992.

He was elected vice Chairman of the Munster Council in 1992 and became Chairman in 1995.

Noel was elected Trustee of Cumann Luthchleas Gael in 2000 & was a member of the Management Committee for three years.

Above all he was always a wonderful Miltown St.Josephs GAA man with a keen interested in the club and players at all levels.

The Noel Walsh Foundation aims to promote greater patricipation in and enjoyment of our games , at all grades all over the world a cause that would have been always dear to Noel's heart.

We are honoured that the Foundation setup by his family in his memory continues the cherished bond between the family and Miltown GAA and we sincerely thank them for their support.
