Our Junior B side continued on their winning ways with victory over Kilkee last evening. Playing against a stiff breeeze in the first half Miltown kept the scoreboard ticking over despite missing a number of chances. 2 goals from Des Molohan and some fine points from Declan Rynne, John Meade, Tommy Flynn and Joe Carroll ensured a half time lead of 2-4 to 0-3.
The second half was a lower scoring affair but Miltowns ability to get goals proved decisive with Declan Rynne, Des Molohan & Tommy Flynn finding the back of the net and Des Molohan knocking over the only point of the half. The Miltown defence stood resolute in the second half restriciting Kilkee to a single point to ensure victory on a scoreline of 5-5 to 0-4.
Next up for the lads is a trip to Moy in two weeks time.
