Our Seniors finished their Cusack Cup campaign yesterday with an impressive win against Doonbeg at Hennessy Memorial Park.
Playing with the breeze, Miltown started well when Cormac Murray experly finished to the net after a good pass from Brian Curtin. There was a variety of well taken points across the first half with scores from Cillian Keavey, Euan Lineen, Cian Mahony, Seanie Malone, Micheal Murray and Paul Frawley. As half time approached, a well worked point from corner back Martin Rynne ensured Miltown led at the break on a scoreline of 1-10 to 0-4.
The second half was a tighter affair however Miltown continued to keep the scoreboard ticking over with points from Euan Lineen (1) and Cormac Murray (3) securing a win for Miltown on a scoreline of 1-14 to 0-10.

Meanwhile our Junior A side was forced to give a walkover to the Banner yesterday as they were unable to field due to a number of injuries and further knocks picked up in the senior game.
