Our Junior As continued their Division 4 league campaign at home today against Liscannor.

In a tight opening half, both defences were on top with the majority of points coming from placed balls. Miltown scores came from boots of Euan Lineen, Ger Malone and Sean McMahon and the teams entered the break level at 0-4 apiece.

The 2nd half followed the same vein with Liscannor leading by two as the match entered the final quarter before Tommy Flynn found the net for Miltown to put them one ahead. Both sides continued to trade scores with points from Gary Egan and John Jimmy ensuring Miltown led by one as the match entered injury time. A late Liscannor free ensured the teams finished level on a scoreline of 1-7 to 0-10.
