Our seniors fell to defeat in their latest Cusack Cup match this afternoon away to Kildysart.

Kildysart started well with an early goal and a number of well taken points. Miltown tried hard with two points of their own before Sean O'Brien saved a penalty. A late Kildysart goal ensured they led at the break on a scoreline of 2-7 to 0-2.

Kildysart commenced where they left off in the 2nd half with three unanswered points. Paul Keane struck for Miltown's goal at the end of a well worked team move. Two further goals and a number of well taken points ensured Kildysart emerged victorious over the youthful Miltown side on a scoreline of 4-15 to 1-4.

Miltown lined out as follows: Sean O'Brien; Euan Reidy, Martin Rynne, Gearoid Burke; Sean Neylon, Gearoid Curtin, Jamesie O'Connor; Micheal Murray and Paul Frawley; Conall Meade, Ger Malone, Liam Hehir; Paul Keane, Cormac Murray, Euan Lineen. Subs: Diarmuid O'Sullivan, Damien Devereaux, Cormac Byrne.

Miltown don't have to wait long for the chance for revenge as they host Kildysart Friday night in the O'Gorman Cup.
