Our u13s emerged victorious this evening after an impressive performance away to Cooraclare.

Cooraclare started well and scored a well worked goal to go into an early lead while Miltown were wasteful to start with a number of early wides. Points from Josh Flynn, Cillian Sexton, Micheal Toomey and Eamon Devanney allowed Miltown to find their feet before Cillian Sexton found the net from close range. Further points from Josh Flynn, Danny Keena and Evan O'Loughlin stretched Miltown's lead before Josh Flynn found the net at the end of a well worked team move. This ensured Miltown led at the break on a scoreline of 2-13 to 1-1 after playing with the aid of a stiff breeze.

Miltown introduced a number of fresh legs at half time however once again, Cooraclare started well in the 2nd half with a quick fire 1-1. Points from Danny Keena, Evan O'Loughlin and Josh Flynn allowed Miltown to maintain their lead before Miltown and Cooraclare exchanged goals with Evan O'Loughlin expertly finishing to the net for Miltown allowing Miltown to emerge victorious on a scoreline of 3-19 to 3-5.
