Division 7 League:

Our Junior B side continued their good early season form with an impressive win against Coolmeen at Hennessy Memorial park on Saturday evening.

Playing against the breeze in the first half , Miltown displayed great attacking movement while remaining solid in defence. Points from Eanna O'Connor , Diarmaid O'Sullivan (2) ,Gary Egan (2) Michael Hehir (2) and Tommy Flynn allied to a well taken penalty from Diarmaid O'Sullivan saw Miltown lead at hslf time on a score line of 1-8 to no score.

The second half saw more of the same from our Junior B's with the introduction of 5 subs adding greatly to the experience on the field. A brace of well taken goals from Des Molohan and points from Michael Hehir, Adam Burke & Diarmaid O'Sullivan gave Miltown te win on a score line of 3-11 to 1-3
