Our u21s exited the championship this afternoon at the hands of Kilrush/Killimer.

The 21s started well and went into an early lead following a well taken Cian Mahony goal however the opposition hit the front just before half time with a goal of their own.

In a tight second half, Kilrush/Killimer struck for a second goal and despite Miltown's best efforts they were unable to close the deficit as the match drew to a close with Kilrush/Killimer emerging victorious on a scoreline of 2-10 to 1-9.

Miltown lined out as follows: Mark Cunningham; Podge Devitt, Cormac Devitt, Adam Burke; Cillian Keavey, Damien Devereaux, Cian Flanagan; Cian Mahony and Liam Hehir; Eanna O Connor, Conall Meade, Sean Neylon; Paul Keane, Diarmuid O Sullivan, Jason Griffin. Subs: Tadhg Flynn, Euan Reidy, Ronan Meade, Zack Whelehan, Evan Crowley.

Hard luck to all involved, players and management.
