Our U17 side completed the league section of the 2021 Championship with an impressive win over St.Breckans in Miltown on Saturday morning. The game started slowly with both side missing a number of chances in a tricky breeze. A St.Breckans goal put Miltown on the back foot but showing great determination and work rate the lads steadied the ship and two well worked goals ensured a half time lead of 2-5 to 1-1.

The second half saw Miltown increase the pressure on the opposition defence and begin to dominate in a number of positions. Some impressive defensive work allied to more efficient scoring ensured Miltown ran out winners on a scoreline of Miltown 4-13 St.Breckans 1-3. Miltown finished top of their section so now qualify directly for a semi final along with Clooney Quin while the second & third placed teams in each section play off to make up the remaining semi finalists.
