Our u15s were unsuccessful in their quest for Feile glory last weekend against Eire Og.

The Ennis side started well with an early goal and point before Eoin Devanney pointed for Miltown. Unfortunately this was followed quickly by Eire Ogs second goal while points from Gavin Twomey, Caimin Jones and Eoin Devanney narrowed the gap. This meant Miltown trailed at the break on a scoreline of 2-2 to 0-4.

Further points from Eire Og stretched their lead before Eoin Devanney scored for Miltown. A deserved goal for Miltown came from a well taken Caimin Jones finish as the game drew to a close which ensured that Eire Og prevailed on a scoreline of 3-5 to 1-5.

Miltown lined out as follows: Colin Hayes; James Downes, Iarla Meade, Paudie Killeen; Steven Murphy, Niall Twomey, Ronan Keavey; Ralph Whelehan and Gavin Twomey; Conor Neylon, Eoin Devanney, Eoghan Hogan; James Cogan, Darragh Hogan, Caimin Jones. Subs: Alex O'Brien, Oisin Mccarthy, Tony Carroll, Sean McMahon.

Hard luck to the lads and the management team of Mike Murphy, Pete Cunningham and Martin Rynne. The run to the saw a number of impressive displays from Miltown which saw the recent work on the training ground pay off.
