Our U17 side got their 2021 championship campaign off to a winning start with victory over Cooraclare last night.

Miltown made the early running with a quickfire goal and created a number of quality opportunities but found scores hard to come by with a resolute Cooraclare defence exerting pressure at all times.

The second half started with 2 early Miltown scores and despite a strong fightback from the hosts towards the end of the game Miltown ran out winners on a scoreline of 3-10 to 1-10
