Our u15s played the preliminary round of the Feile competition last Wednesday against Wolfe Tones.

The first half was an even game with the Shannon side entering the break leading by a point.

Miltown performed strongly in the second half and a great display of attacking football with a number of well taken goals ensured Miltown prevailed on a scoreline of 6-3 to 2-5.

Miltown move forward now to play St Breckans in the Feile quarter final which will take place next week.

Miltown lined out as follows: Colin Hayes; Tony Carroll, Iarla Meade, Sean McMahon; Steven Murphy, Niall Twomey, James Downes; Ralph Whelehan and Gavin Twomey; Eoghan Hogan, Eoin Devanney, Ronan Keavey; Oisin McCarthy, Darragh Hogan, Caimin Jones. Subs: Alex O'Brien.

This display was testament to the work done in recent weeks as our u15s had exited the championship at the hands of the Shannon side three weeks earlier. Well done to all involved, keep up the good work.
