Miltown drew for the second consecutive week in the senior football championship when they faced Cratloe earlier tonight in Cusack Park.
Miltown started well with early points from Kieran Malone x 3, Colin Hehir and Cian Mahony. This ensured they led at the water break on a scoreline of 0-5 to 0-4 despite playing against a stiff breeze. Cratloe asserted their dominance in the 2nd quarter with four unanswered points meaning they led at half time on a scoreline of 0-8 to 0-5.
Points from Darragh McDonagh and Kieran Malone narrowed the deficit before Cratloe struck for a goal to extend their lead to four. Three points in a row from Eoin Cleary, two from 45s, reduced the gap before Cormac Murray was black carded as the game entered the final minutes.
