Our u13s continued their good form with their third successive win tonight at Hennessey Memorial Park against Kilfenora/Liscannor/Michael Cusacks.
Miltown started well with early points from Conor Neylon, Podge Devereaux and Oisin Mccarthy. Conor struck for the game's first goal with an excellent finish to the corner of the net before points from Eamon Devanney and Podge Devereaux extended Miltown's lead. Evan O'Loughlin scored Miltown's 2nd goal when he rounded the Clann Lir goalkeeper before points from Podge Devereaux and Paudie Killeen ensured Miltown led at the break on a scoreline of 2-8 to 0-3.
The Clann Lir goalkeeper pulled off a number of excellent saves before Daniel Keena powerfully finished to the net for Miltowns third goal. Clann Lir continued to work hard and were rewarded with two goals in quick succession. Points from Eoghan Hogan, Podge Devereaux and Josh Flynn ensured Miltown prevailed on a scoreline of 3-11 to 2-5. In horrible weather conditions, Miltown utilized all available playing members with them all seeing a minimum of 15minutes again.
