Our u12s travelled to Lisdoonvarna this morning to take part in their latest fixtures.

Miltown started well with goals in the first quarter from Evan O'Loughlin and Eoghan Hogan. This combined with points from Josh Flynn and Evan O'Loughlin ensured they led at the end of first quarter by 2-2 to 0-2.

St Breckans fought back with three quick fire goals and three points to take the lead however points from Daniel Keena and Evan O'Loughlin ensured Miltown closed the gap to trail at the break on a scoreline of 2-5 to 3-5.

A strong defensive display from Daniel Howard, Sean & Micheal Twomey, Gearoid Keavey, and Josh Flynn gave Miltown a strong platform to take the lead in the third quarter. This allowed Miltown to score excellent points from Daniel Keena, Eli Downes and Gearoid Keavey while Eoghan Hogan finished powerfully to the net for two well taken goals. Further points from Eoghan Hogan and Evan O'Loughlin ensured Miltown led at the 2nd water break on a scoreline of 4-11 to 4-6.

Miltown continued to drive on in the final quarter in warm conditions with Eoghan Hogan and Evan O'Loughlin scoring two excellent finishes to the Lisdoon net. This was followed by the point of the game from Daniel Keena after good work from Eamon Devanney and Fergal Queally. Further points from Daniel Keena and Sean Twomey ensured Miltown prevailed on a scoreline of 6-15 to 4-9.
