The juniors finished their league campaign with a defeat at home to the Banner earlier today.

The match, played in 27 degrees heat, kicked off with the Banner starting strongly racing into an early lead and striking for the game's first goal. Following the water break, the fitter Banner side continued to press on and led convincingly at the break on a scoreline of 2-10 to 0-4 with Miltowns points from Ger Malone and Sean Malone.

Miltown continued to try hard in the 2nd half with points from Colin McGuane and Sean Malone however were unable to close the deficit. Late points from Conall Meade and Michael Hehir ensured the Banner prevailed on a scoreline of 2-16 to 0-10.
