Our seniors continued their unbeaten Cusack Cup run today with a win away to Eire Og.

Miltown started well with a point from Eoin Cleary before Kieran Malone expertly finished to the net at the end of a well worked team move for the game's first goal. This ensured the teams were well matched at the first water break with Miltown leading on a scoreline of 1-1 to 0-3. Miltown continued to perform strongly as half time approached with points from Eoin Cleary, Oisin Looney and Seanie Malone ensured they led at the break on a scoreline 1-9 to 0-5.

In the 3rd quarter, Miltown continued to work hard and points from Eoin Cleary, Kieran Malone and Aidan McGuane extended their lead. Eire Og took control in the final quarter, scoreing a late goal and a number of points which ensured the game finished with Miltown prevailing on a scoreline 1-16 to 1-9.
