Our juniors lost against near neighbours KIB yesterday on a scoreline of 1-13 to 1-8.

Playing with the aid of a stiff breeze, Miltown were presented with a number of early opportunities however struggled to make the most of the same. KIB struck for the game's first goal to go four in front before Colin McGuane goal reduced the deficit to the minimum at half time.

KIB started the second half well and were two points ahead as the game edged into the final ten minutes. Bryan O Loughlin was then fouled and Miltown were awarded a penalty however unfortunately the KIB goalie dived well to his left to save Sean Malone's penalty. Miltown lost a number of players to injury in the final quarter and further points from KIB ensured they prevailed by 5 points for finish.
