Our juniors started their division 4 campaign with an impressive win over Clondegad.

Both sides started well with Miltown's points coming from John Jimmy, Gary Egan and Ger Malone. This ensured Miltown led at the break on a scoreline of 0-5 to 0-3.

Clondegad started the 3rd quarter well and stuck for the game's first goal. Miltown fought back with John Jimmy striking to the net for the home sides first goal. Further points from Ger Malone, Gearoid Burke and Donal Keane saw Miltown continue to lead before the best move of the match saw Damien Devereaux chip the Clondegad goalkeeper at the end of a impressive move which included six of his teammates. Miltown continued to finish strongly with a number of points from the evergreen Des Molohan ensuring they prevailed on a scoreline of 2-11 to 1-7. Next up for Miltown is a short journey to take on near neighbours KIB in Quilty on Monday.
