Our seniors had their next match in the Cusack Cup this evening when they hosted Ennistymon at Hennessey Memorial Park.

A tense cagey first half saw Miltown lead by the minimum at the break on a scoreline of 0-3 to 0-2 despite a number of missed scoring opportunities from the home team

The 3rd quarter saw Ennistymon take control and advance into a one point lead at the water break. A Darragh McDonagh goal at the end of powerful run put Miltown in the lead before Ennistymon hit the front with a goal of their own. Cormac Murray was to have the final say when he struck for the game's final point and ensured the match finished level on a scoreline of 1-5 to 1-5.

Miltown lined out as follows: Sean O'Brien; Euan Reidy, Seanie Malone, Aidan McGuane; Jamesie O Connor, Gearoid Curtin, Cian Flanagan; Oisin Looney and Micheal Murray; Ger Malone, Cormac Murray, Liam Hehir; Sean Malone, Darragh McDonagh, Brian Curtin. Subs: Joe Carmody, Damien Devereaux, Conall Meade, Micheal Malone, Martin Rynne.

Next up for Miltown is a home tie vs Kildysart.
