Our seniors commenced their Cusack Cup campaign last Monday with a victory away to near neighbours KIB.
Miltown started well in the first half and points from Darragh McDonagh, Cormac Murray, Joe Carmody and Aidan McGuane ensured they led at the break on a scoreline of 0-7 to 0-2.
Further points from the impressive Cormac Murray and Darragh McDonagh kept our seniors in the lead before Micheal Malone struck for the game's first goal. As the game drew to a close, points from Cormac, Seanie Malone and Micheal Malone combined with a late Gordon Kelly goal ensured our seniors prevailed over the under strength KIB side on a scoreline of 2-21 to 0-4.
