Our minors exited the championship tonight with a two point defeat to Lissycasey after extra time. A Cian Mahony point combined with two impressive saves from Andrew Skerritt and great defensive displays from both Paul Frawley and Damien Devereaux ensured the sides entered the break level with four points each.

Hard luck to our minors who exited the championship in the cruelest of circumstances after a spirited display tonight and a number of great performances in the group stages. Thanks to Mikie Neylon and his backroom team of Gearoid Curtin, Enda O Gorman, Peadar Cleary, Michael Griffin, Sean O Brien, Noel McGuane, Brendan McMahon, Padraig Frawley and Pauline O Halloran for their work and commitment during this strange year. This year saw a number of players develop greatly with all hopefully continuing to perform well in the Miltown jersey in the coming years.
