Despite a spirited second half comeback our Junior A side exited this years championship with a 2 point defeat to Cooraclare in Kilrush on Sunday evening .
The first half saw miltown with the majority of possession but unable to convert numerous chances while Cooraclare were more efficient with their finishing and went in at half time leading in a score line of 2-7 to 0-4.
Miltown started the second half in storming fashion and some early points brought them back into the game, eventually drawing level despite some very questionable refereeing decisions. Two late points from frees were enough for Cooraclare to hold on. The final score was Miltown 0-14 Cooraclare 2-10.
