In the opening round of the senior championship, our seniors faced KIB in Cusack Park on Saturday and led at half time on a scoreline of 0-5 to 0-4 with points from Eoin Cleary, Cormac Murray and Conor Cleary. KIB finished stronger in the second half and despite points from Eoin Cleary and Cian Mahony, KIB emerged victorious on a scoreline of 0-12 to 0-9.

The seniors move into the loser's group with the draw being made tomorrow night.
