Following consideration of the government directive today, we will suspend the running of the club lotto following this Friday's weekly draw.

Our Friday morning seller Anne and all the superb people who sell on the Saturday night lotto rota are the people who keep the club's primary source of income running.

We would not expect or ask these people to volunteer in a role that could potentially put themselves or their family at risk of infection.

Therefore, we have taken the decision to suspend the club lotto up to March 29th where we will reassess.

It would be not be financially viable to run the weekly lotto without the income from SuperValu on Friday and the Saturday night sales.

Tickets will remain available in the shops and pubs for this period. Any tickets purchased will be entered when the next draw takes place.

All people who have an annual lotto subscription will get their 12 month payment extended by the appropriate amount of time.

This decision will effectively leave us without a source of income but we trust all will actively support any initiatives to balance the books when safe to do so.
