It's a busy weekend of inter county action this weekend.

First on Saturday, the Michael Neylon managed Clare U20 team play the u20 O'Connor Cup final against Offaly in Miltown. Throw in is at 3pm. Miltown are represented by Cian Flanagan, Oisin Looney and Micheal Murray on the panel. There is also a strong Miltown related representation in the backroom team with Sean O'Brien (goalkeeping coach) and Shane O Connell (medical) while former Miltown senior coaches Eoin Murray, David Geaney and Martin Guerin are selectors.

On Sunday, both the Clare senior hurlers and footballers open their national league campaigns.

At 2pm in Ennis, the Clare hurlers open their campaign with a home tie against Carlow with Conor Cleary part of the Clare panel.

Meanwhile in Mullingar at 2pm, Eoin Cleary starts his Clare Senior football captaincy with a match against Westmeath. Gordon Kelly and Cormac Murray are also part of the Clare football panel, with Jim Marrinan part of Colm Collins back room.
