In recent days, it has been revealed that St. Joseph's Miltown forward Eoin Cleary has been named as the captain of the Clare Senior footballers, succeeding Gary Brennan.

This is a great source of pride for all involved with Miltown GAA as Eoin follows in the footsteps of fellow Clare Senior player, Gordon Kelly, another recent Clare Senior captain.

The Clare Seniors commence their national league campaign on January 26th when they travel to Mullingar to take on Westmeath.
