Miltown advanced to the U21B semi final this evening with an impressive four point victory over Lissycasey.

Miltown started well in Kilmihil with a number of early points from Cian Mahony and Diarmuid Meade. Lissycasey rallied and as half time approached the sides were level on a scoreline of 0-4 each. Miltown kept going and two impressive points from Cian Flanagan, quickly followed by a point from Diarmuid Meade ensured Miltown led at the break on a scoreline of 0-7 to 0-4.

Miltown started the second half well and soon struck for the game's first goal when Zac Whelehan intercepted a Lissycasey kickout, feeding Ronan Meade who struck to the net with an excellent finish. A smart save from Mark Cunnigham in goals and further points from Cian Mahony, Diarmuid Meade, Paul Keane and Ronan Meade ensured Miltown continued to stay in the lead. Lissycasey scored a late goal however a resilient defensive display ensured Miltown prevailed on a scoreline of 1-11 to 1-7.

Subs: Paul Keane, Padraic Murray, Cormac Devitt.

Scorers were as follows: Cian Mahony 0-4, Ronan Meade 1-1, Diarmuid Meade 0-3, Cian Flanagan 0-2, Paul Keane 0-1.
