Our u21 team got off to winning start in the championship this evening in Shannon with a victory over Parteen/Meelick.

Miltown started well with an expertly finished goal from Cian Mahony. This was quickly followed by goals from Oisin Looney and Diarmuid Meade. Following the impressive first half attacking performance, Miltown led at the break on a scoreline of 3-4 to 0-1.

Parteen/Meelick tried hard to narrow the deficit with two second half goals however a number of fine points from Miltown ensured our u21s prevailed on a scoreline of 3-10 to 2-4. The 21 team, managed by Gearoid Curtin, Tayto O Brien and Seanie Malone, now move forward to face Lissycasey in the next round.
