Further points from Sean Hayes and Cormac O'Loughlin and an impressive first half defensive display meant Miltown trailed 1-5 to 1-3 at the break.

Corofin started the second half well, striking for an early goal. Well taken points from Patrick Greene and Sean Hayes, combined with a goal from Cormac O'Loughlin saw Miltown go ahead.
