The minor side got back on track last night with an impressive display against Clooney Quin in Hennessy Memorial Park.

Miltown were slow off the mark and found the Clooney Quin team difficult to handle initially. As half time approached, Miltown found their feet and led by three at the break.

A second half performance which included a number of well finished goals and several well taken scores from Cian Guerin, Sean McMahon and Cian Mahony – including two very impressive long range frees; ensured Miltown prevailed on a score-line of 6-6 to 1-10.
