Just a quick reminder regarding the upcoming draw for a two night hotel weekend away break. Those eligible for the draw will be those people have purchased an lotto annual subscription by the end of June. Anyone who has purchased a subscription to date in 2019 is included in the draw already along with all further purchases to end June.

St. Josephs Miltown Malbay GAA are truly appreciative of all who currently support lotto via weekly sales at SuperValu on Friday morning, Saturday night sales in Miltown and existing lotto annual subscriptions. Without the support of all, off-field initiatives like the walking/running track and on field support for all teams in addition to meeting substantial insurance costs could not be met and completed. However, we do receive regular feedback that the existing lotto sales methods do not easily enable engagement for in particular the demographic of the people in the 30+ range due to family, work & location reasons.

To this end, we are now launching a major drive to increase the engagement on the annual lotto subscription. This can be done via the €2 a week or €5 a week lotto incentive schemes outlined as follows: Option 1 (€2 a week = €100 per year). You will receive one entry to weekend away draw. Option 2 (€5 a week = €250 per year). You will receive three entries to weekend away draw.

Subscriptions must be purchased by June 30th to enter weekend away draw.

We are really appealing for support on this initiative as further short term improvements are planned at the field in terms of field sanding, a major investment in a proven netting solution to solve the on-going issue of the many flying birds who have set up home in the stand along with an investment into a card system to provide greater control on access to the gym. We are also looking at further off field projects but these are very much finance dependent to progress.
