Our Seniors got back on track in their Cusack Cup campaign today with a seven point victory over St Breckans in Hennessy Memorial Park.
Miltown started well with well taken points from Micheal Murray, Jason Griffin and Aidan McGuane however St Breckans stayed in touch with well taken points of their own. Our Seniors took the lead with Micheal Murray expertly finishing to the net after good work from Graham Kelly. Further points from Graham and Ger Malone before the break ensured Miltown led at the break on a scoreline of 1-6 to 0-5.
Our Seniors improved in the second half and with further well taken points from Ger Malone, Euan Reidy, Sean Malone and Graham Kelly ensured Miltown won on a scoreline of 1-14 to 0-10.
