Our u16s opened their Division 2 Championship campaign with a convincing win over Clarecastle last Saturday.
In a very impressive attacking display, a hattrick from Sean McMahon and further goals from Cillian Keavey, Diarmuid O’Sullivan, Reece Whelehan and Eanna O’Connor ensured Miltown ran out winners on a score line of 7-11 of 4-4.
Brendan McMahon and his management team of Graham Kelly, Padraig Frawley, Martin Guerin and Cormac Murray will be pleased to open their campaign with a win with tougher tests in store as their championship progresses over the coming months.
