Local legend Sheila Murphy is director for the The Mid-West entry "Forrest Gump". If Sheila can make an Oskar winning actor out of Seanie Malone, the Hollywood Oscars will surely be Sheila's next calling.

For anyone willing to support by purchasing raffle tickets or attending on the night, please contact Sheila Murphy or Pauline O'Halloran

At the recent launch Treacys West County Hotel was unveiled as the main sponsors and proprietor Patrick Treacy told the large gathering that he was delighted to support Clare football. Officials of both the ladies and men’s senior teams were in attendance also and amongst those to address the gathering was the senior men’s team manager, Colm Collins who urged patrons to support what promises to be a great night’s entertainment. A number of senior team players from both the men’s and ladies teams were in attendance and will be performing on November 23. Judging by the reaction to date, this event promises to be a sell out so those planning on attending are advised to purchase their tickets early.
