Our u15s bowed out of the U15 West Clare Championship last night after succumbing to defeat against an impressive Cooraclare side.
At half time in Hennessy Memorial Park, Cooraclare held a convincing lead as Miltown were unable to hold onto possession for any prolonged period.
Our u15s mounted a comeback at the start of the second half with an early goal however unfortunately hit the woodwork twice which halted their momentum.
Cooraclare punished any mistakes that the u15s made and were deserving winners for a finish.
The Miltown panel was: Andrew Skerritt, Adam Burke, Patrick Flanagan, Rhys Whelehan, Paul Frawley, Callum Curtin, Gavin Burke, Harry Boyd, Eanna O’Connor, Cillian Keavey, Conall Meade, Diarmuid O’Sullivan, Sean McMahon, Euan Lineen, Sean Neylon, Eamon Devereaux, Joseph Carroll, Cormac Byrne, Darragh Fallon, Sean Hayes, John Moloney, James Anastasia, Sidney Smith-Greene .
Commiserations to all involved – hopefully all players will continue to improve and can come back stronger in the u16 grade next year.
