Our Juniors retained their Junior A status after a great performance against Clondegad today in Kilmihil.

Miltown started well and took the lead with early points from T and Diarmuid Meade. Clondegad battled back with a well worked goal and a number of points. Clondegad led at the break on a scoreline of 1-6 to 0-6 after playing with the aid of the breeze.

An impressive start to the 2nd half saw Miltown get on top in midfield and dominate the early stages with well taken points from Diarmuid, Sean Meade and Graham Kelly. A disciplined defensive performance ensured that the Clondegad were kept scoreless in the 2nd half with Miltown running out winners on a scoreline of 0-11 to 1-6.
