Our Juniors were defeated by Doora Barefield in the second round of Junior A Championship tonight on a scoreline of 0-8 to 0-11.

Miltown lead at half time by four points to two with points from Ger Malone and John Jimmy.

Our Juniors started the second half well and led 0-7 to 0-4 midway through the second half with points from Joe Carmody and T. However Doora Barefield powered back into it with seven unanswered points before a late Sean Clancy point reduced the deficit to three. Our Juniors pushed hard but were unable to find the elusive goal.
