Miltown U14s succumbed to a good Banner team last Monday night in Ennis. Miltown got off to a bad start and conceded five goals in the first half. Things improved dramatically for our u14s in the second half when Miltown hit a purple patch and scored 1-10 with some good passages of play.
Unfortunately however they were not a match for the Banner in the end and lost by four points. They are still well placed with two wins under the belt and an opportunity to get their campaign back on track with a home game vs Doonbeg on Monday July 30th.
The Miltown panel for the game was: Diarmuid O’Sullivan; Cormac Byrne, Paul Frawley, Eamon Devereaux; Gerry Meade, Adam Burke, Ralph Whelehan; Sean McMahon & Euan Lineen; Sean Hayes, Cillian Keavey, Sean Neylon (captain); John Moloney, Darragh Hogan, Joseph Carroll; Pj Salzer, Ronan Keavey, Dominic Griffin, Niall Twomey, Jake Donnellan, Darragh Fallon, Gavin Twomey, Darragh Foran.
