Our juniors won the Division 4 relegation final tonight away against Clooney-Quin on a scoreline of 1-14 to 2-4.  This win ensures our juniors will play in the Division 4 league next year.

An impressive attacking first half saw Miltown race into a 0-8 to 0-1 lead at half time. They continued to show their dominance in the second half with Sean Malone expertly finishing to the Clooney-Quin net. There was also a number of points from a variety of scorers to ensure Miltown ended up victors by seven points. The point scorers on the night were Ger Malone, Enda Fox, Graham Kelly, Colm Haugh, Sean Malone, Gary Egan, Sean Clancy & Darragh Flynn.

Miltown lined out as follows: Paul Tubridy; Euan Reidy, Martin Rynne, Gearoid Burke; Jamesie O’Connor, Sean Meade, Oisin Looney; Ger Malone & John Jimmy; Enda Fox, Graham Kelly, Colm Haugh; Sean Malone, Gary Egan, Sean Clancy. Subs: Darragh Flynn, Conor Sexton, Padraic Murray, Michael Talty, Jack Downes.

The next fixture for our juniors is the first round of the championship which is provisionally fixed for next weekend against the Banner.
