Miltown bowed out of the Brian Casey Tournament today at the semi final stage following a one point defeat against Lissycasey A.

In their opening group game, Miltown beat Lissycasey B convincingly in sweltering conditions.

The draw determined that Miltown were to play Kilmihil straight away after their opening game. Miltown raced into a half time lead however playing two consecutive games caught up with Miltown as Kilmihil levelled the game as it drew to a close. This draw determined that Miltown were to play Lissycasey A in the semi final.

Shorn of a number of options due to injuries picked up throughout the day and work commitment for their semi final, Miltown battled hard however ultimately fell short on a scoreline of 3-6 to 3-5.
