This evening our Juniors were defeated by Michael Cusacks in Carron in their final Division 4 league game on a score line of 2-9 to 0-7.

The result saw the Juniors finish level on 5 points with Clondegad and Clooney Quin however Clooney Quin joined KIB in being relegated to Division 5 due to their inferior scoring difference.

Our Juniors were depleted and travelled to North Clare with the bare minimum fifteen players. These included the returning Conor Sexton, after many years overseas, and departing Cormac Byrne, off to the US on Monday.

Miltown lined out as follows: Paul Tubridy; Jamesie O Connor, Cormac Byrne, Gearoid Burke; Liam Gray, Gary Egan, Heff; John Jimmy & Ger Malone; Darragh Flynn, Diarmuid Meade, Conor Sexton; Sean Malone, Padraic Murray, Ends Fox.

Tonight's match marked the end of their league campaign and the Juniors' focus now switches to their Championship which kicks off in the coming months allowing time to regroup and prepare.
