Our Senior side suffered a six point reversal on Sunday in the O'Gorman Cup when they travelled to Kildysart to take on the home side.
Kildysart started brightly and had built up a 6 point lead before Euan Lineen got Miltown on the scoreboard with a point from play. Miltown began to eat into the Kildysart with further scores from Euan Lineen ( 3 frees and a point from play) , Oisin Meade and Tim Lenihan leaving the half time score Miltown 0-7 , Kildysart 0-9.
Kildysart began the second half well and rattled off the first three points before Darragh McDonagh with a point got Miltown up and running leaving four between the sides. Points from Micheal Murray and Euan Lineen left two between the sides before a Kildysart goal re-established what proved to be an unassailable lead. Miltown battled well to the final whistle with scores from Ralph Whelehan , Oisin McCarthy (2) and Diarmaid O'Sullivan leaving six between the sides at the final whistle.
