Our senior team began the 2018 Cusack Cup campaign with defeat to KIB in Miltown on Sunday morning. Miltown found scores very hard to come by in the 1st half only troubling the scoreboard with a Cormac Murray free. Two KIB penalties gave them a lead of 2-2 to 0-1 at half time.
Miltown started the second half in better form with a few scores,but were unable to reel in the lead. A number of wides coupled with two more KIB goals ensured an early season defeat.
