Our newly promoted Junior A team succumbed to a defeat against Ennistymon in their opening game of the Division 4 League this afternoon on a score-line of 0-08 to 2-13.

Following a spirited first half playing with the aid of a breeze, Miltown led 0-07 to 1-3. As the wind picked up in the second half, a youthful Ennistymon team powered to an 11 point victory.

Scorers for Miltown included Michael Hehir, Diarmuid Meade, Gerard Malone, Donal Keane and Sean Clancy among others.
